This is quite my favourite tune although it doesn’t really end… Here’s the pdf.

Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill play this tune (in a different key) on their album, Welcome Here Again, but it seems fairly rare. Katie Henderson plays it (from Hayes) on youtube, as does Stefano di Mateo, this time on a guitar.

Although it’s easier to play on the cello in G, it seems it would be easier on the flute in D, so I’ve also attached the music in D so we can try that too. It’s a beautiful tune, so I hope this means it is played a little more often. Do note that the B part is longer and so is not repeated.
