Here is a lovely tune I have learned from Wantage. It was written in 3/4 but I’ve changed it to 6/8 just to emphasize the way it seems to shift between two beats to the bar to three beats for one bar of the b part. I’m sorry if that’s not very clear…. it might be better to listen to it. Here is a good slow version by Painted Green. And another jollier version by a mandolin player on youtube (with great pictures of crested hens!). Alternatively, have a look at this nice mandolin playing where you can see the fingering.
