We heard Emily and the Tunesmiths play this tune at the Oxford Folk Weekend in 2014 and it reminded us what a great tune it is too. There are 93 recordings of this tune according to The Session.org and no doubt there are even more versions of it… this is one that Jane transcribed for me from the Planxty CD and you can see Planxty performing it here (oh, the joys of youtube)!  The session.org also pointed me to James Hamilton playing on the flute.
