McLeod’s Farewell (aka Morning Nightcap)

The Irish band Lúnasa popularised this tune in the set Morning Nightcap, and then realised that they had to credit Donald Shaw (the founder of the Scottish band, Capercaillie) for the composition and its name. It’s odd they didn’t notice because it has a typical Scottish structure, returning to the latter part of the A part in the B part. As the Morning Nightcap, this tune has the distinction of having been made into an anime cartoon, with quite convincing finger movements!
