This is a tune that I’ve been listening to for a long time played by Martin Hayes… and then I discovered that it was also in the Oxford University Ceilidh Band list of tunes… so I thought it would be fun for more of us to learn and play together.

It is another tune that sounds in one key but plays another – there is almost certainly an official term for this – so it sounds like it is in the key of D, but the C naturals sound so great! Having said that, in some versions, it is played/written with a C#, so I think we need to try it and form our own consensus… and you may find it sounds different in some of these videos.
