May’s Oxford’s Slow Session is on this Sunday, 3rd May 2026, from 4pm, upstairs in The Slow and Steady, Abingdon Road (the former White House pub).

You might be planning to celebrate May morning tomorrow… in which case, there is a free ceilidh in Broad St from about 8am til about 10am run by the University Ceilidh Band. And I think various sessions around town after that (probably in the Covered Market and the Jolly Farmers Pub).

Unfortunately the brunch is no more… (and the Sunday roast advertised on their website is not happening yet) but there are also lots of burgers, pizzas and sides. I will be there from 2.30pm setting up, so feel free to come along.
